Meghan Markle previously revealed to Prince Harry that she prayed for two things whilst standing beside him at his late mother's grave in 2022. The couple, who now live in California, had travelled back to Britain during one of thei two joint visits four years ago.

The couple have not travelled to the UK together since 2022, but are now just weeks away from a visit with their two children. Harry, 41, and Meghan, 44, are set to travel to the UK next month for the Duke of Sussex to attend the one-year countdown event for the 2027 Invictus Games.

Whilst it remains unknown if Harry has taken Prince Archie and Princess Lilibet to their late grandmother's resting place at Althorp House in Northamptonshire, the royal recalled a visit alongside Meghan in his bombshell memoir, Spare.

Speaking of the visit, Harry wrote: "No visit to this place was ever easy, but this one… twenty-fifth anniversary. And Meg’s first time. At long last, I was bringing the girl of my dreams home to meet mum."

"We hesitated, hugging, and then I went first. I placed flowers on the grave. Meg gave me a moment, and I spoke to my mother in my head, told her I missed her, asked her for guidance and clarity. Feeling that Meg might also want a moment, I went around the hedge, scanned the pond. When I came back, Meg was kneeling, eyes shut, palms against the stone."

He then revealed two things that Meghan had prayed for, writing: "I asked, as we walked back to the boat, what she’d prayed for. Clarity, she said. And guidance."

Harry was just aged 12 when his late mother passed away in August 1997. She was just 36-years-old.

As reported by HELLO!, Harry could be hoping to take his children to Diana's resting place during their visit to the UK next month - with a major hint shared on Althorp House's website.

Featured on the official website for Althorp House in Northamptonshire, which is where the late royal grew up, it states that the estate will be closed on July 10 and 11 – which falls during the limited summer opening dates of July 1 and August 31. The visit would also take place during Harry's Invictus Games commitments between July 10 and 17.

It has been understood that Harry and Meghan have been offered a royal residence to stay at during their visit, although whether they accepted the offer remains unknown. The security arrangements during the Sussex family's visit also remain unknown.
