A Spanish fighter pilot has been killed after his F-18 jet crashed 500 metres from the town of Peralejos in Spain. The pilot was reportedly unable to eject when the plane went down.

A Spanish Army fighter pilot was killed when his F-18 crashed sparking a forest fire.
The horrific accident occurred in the town of Peralejos in Teruel and the plane is not believed to have been carrying weapons.
The Civil Guard and Firefighters have been called into the area.
