Royal Family LIVE: Princess Kate and Prince William make key decision about their home

William and Kate share intimate moment in Buckingham Palace

Prince William and Princess Kate might be one of the most famous couples on the planet, but according to an inside source their life at home is very ordinary.

They do not employ a vast number of royal servants as instead three children Prince George, Princess Charlotte and Prince Louis are expected to help out with chores.

While the Waleses do have daytime staff to manage their work schedules, when at home in Adelaide Cottage they prefer to raise their children themselves.

A source told the Daily Mail: "I think it would surprise people to see how ordinary things are at home. The children help with laying the table, clearing their plates when they’ve finished eating and helping with tidying up. There’s no preferential treatment."

Their nanny Maria Teresa Turrion Borrallo used to live with the family at Kensington Palace but apparently did not move with them when they relocated to Windsor.
