Prince Harry and Meghan Markle criticised by Fitzwilliams
Prince Harry and Meghan Markle have been accused of causing "irreparable" damage to the Royal Family by speaking so publicly about them on a number of forums.
Ever since they stepped down as working royals in 2020, the Duke and Duchess of Sussex have used their platform to speak out about their time in the Firm, principally through their Netflix documentary series and Harry's memoir Spare.
Now, PR guru Ryan McCormick has told the Mirror that the royals are unlikely to welcome the Sussexes back due to their habit of spilling secrets.
He said: "In Mario Puzo's book The Family he writes: 'We are a family, and the loyalty of the family must come before anything and everyone else. For if we honour that commitment, we will never be vanquished - but if we falter in that loyalty we will all be condemned'.
"I think that quote speaks volumes about the current state of affairs in the Royal Family. By betraying secrets told in confidence and also publicly excoriating their own flesh and blood, Meghan & Harry have caused irreparable damage to an institution which is over 1,200 years old."
However, if they ever did return Mr McCormick claimed it could encourage others to talk more openly about being royal, as he added: "Other members of the family may also feel emboldened to dish dirt to the press knowing there's no repercussions to fear."

The pair were also joined by Bumble dating app billionaire Whitney Wolfe and her husband Michael Herd, although Meghan Markle was not with them.
Harry is known to love skiing, as he often went with the Royal Family in his youth.
