Prince William is said to have demonstrated his "true colours" as Prince Harry suffered a significant setback during his UK visit. While Prince Harry's presence in the UK this week has been widely reported, it was Prince William who captured considerable public attention on Tuesday (July 7).

On Tuesday, Prince William confirmed he had paid a visit to Ysgol Gymraeg Llundain, a bilingual Welsh-English primary school. There, pupils are working hard to preserve the Welsh language and culture in London, and he joined the children to send his best wishes to Team Wales ahead of the Commonwealth Games in Glasgow.

However, a particular moment during his school visit appears to have seized people's attention, with many believing it highlighted a striking contrast to Prince Harry. This follows speculation that Harry had to deliver a big blow to Meghan Markle.

Taking to X, users began circulating footage of the Prince of Wales meeting Finnie, the official Glasgow 2026 Mascot during his visit, leaving them thoroughly impressed. Many believe it laid bare his "true colours" as he appeared genuinely joyful and relaxed amongst those around him.

One account posted a video of William, captioning it: "The Prince of Wales and Finnie." The Prince is then seen performing a special handshake with Finnie, which truly showcased his playful nature.

He is visibly smiling and laughing following his interaction with the mascot. Judging by the footage, it is evident that both staff and children found the moment equally delightful.

Numerous videos and photographs of Prince William throughout the day have surfaced, sparking considerable discussion amongst the public, with many keen to share their thoughts.

One wrote: "I love this." Another commented: "The traffic cone on the mascot is great!"

A third replied: "William must be having a fantastic day." Meanwhile, a fourth remarked: "Silly billy Harry."

One further observer added: "I'll bet he was in a great mood today! Whilst Prince William was having fun and fist bumping a mascot horse, his younger brother has ended up looking like a horse's a***."

This comes as it was confirmed that Prince Harry lost his High Court case against Associated Newspapers Limited. The Duke of Sussex, Sir Elton John and others' claims over alleged unlawful information gathering by Daily Mail publisher Associated Newspapers were dismissed by a High Court judge.

Mr Justice Nicklin stated in his ruling that he accepted the evidence given by the Duke of Sussex at trial, with Harry appearing in court in London in January. In a 436-page ruling, the judge said: "In assessing Prince Harry's evidence overall, it was apparent that he wished the court to understand the personal impact of the matters in issue.

"At times, this led him beyond giving factual evidence into advancing arguments on the issues, and exchanges followed with Mr White KC (Antony White KC, for Associated) in that vein. As I indicated to Prince Harry at the time, that is not uncommon: many litigants feel a strong instinct to argue their case themselves.

"However, when giving evidence, that is not a burden they are required to carry. The responsibility for advancing the party's case rests with the advocate. Overall, this did not affect the quality of Prince Harry's evidence, which I accept. As with each of the claimants, Prince Harry has limited evidence to give on the contentious matters in dispute."

Meanwhile, Prince William appeared to be in excellent spirits during his visit to the school. He seemed to thoroughly enjoy his engagement, interacting with the pupils and finding out more about their education.
