GMB: Guest argue over William and Harry potentially reconciling

Prince Harry has been urged to do one thing to mend his fractured relationship with Prince William. The two feuding brothers have seen their relationship grow frostier by the day ever since the Duke of Sussex's sensational departure from the Royal Family in 2020.

Harry has made a series of claims against the royals and William through various interviews and his bombshell memoir, Spare. However, a former member of royal staff has said that there could be a light at the end of the tunnel and Harry could "win William round" if he issued a proper apology to his estranged relatives.

Former Buckingham Palace press spokesman Dickie Arbiter claimed that while there is still a long way to go for the estranged Duke, he could reconcile with the Royal Family in the future, by using the right means.

He told The Sun: "You can't just brush everything under the carpet. The Oprah interview. The six hours of Netflix slagging off the Royal Family. The book Spare. You can't just sweep that under the carpet."

He then urged the Duke to issue an apology to both and King and Prince William.

He said: "There's got to be an apology. The King is sort of commander in chief of the armed services, and it would be a good fit and a good show for him to appear, but it's a very difficult one. He's been placed in a dilemma as to how to cope with this."

Regarding William, he added: "I think we have to wait and see how this moves on as to whether there is an apology. He's got to clear a lot of bad air to get them there, because William really doesn't want to have anything to do with him.

"As a parent is slightly different. He loves his son, but he's very hurt by what his son has done, and there doesn't seem to be any move of rapprochement. He made that silly comment a few weeks ago that he doesn't know how long his father has got.

"I mean, you don't say things like that in public, so he's got a lot of ground to make up. The ground is with a capital ‘a’ apology, and you've got to mean it."

Prince Harry appeared in a BBC interview back in May where he talked about the King's health and expressed his wish to reconcile with his family.

He said: "I would love reconciliation with my family. There's no point continuing to fight any more, life is precious."
