Prince Harry was absent from another Trooping the Colour on Saturday.

Prince Harry stepped out for a solo appearance at Knicks basketball game on Saturday night, just hours after his family attended Trooping the Colour in London. According to body language expert Darren Stanton, Harry did not look relaxed during the game, appearing to have "a lot going on his mind".

Speaking to OLBG, Mr Stanton said: "Normally when Harry is out at engagements, he shows lots of microexpressions of happiness but we didn’t see any of those during his trip to the basketball." He added: "He just didn’t seem as happy as normal. From his non-verbal gestures, I got the sense that his head isn’t whole-heartedly in this event. It’s like he has a lot going on in his mind."

Pointing out one gesture that Harry posed at the game, he said: "The gesture of moving his head around, which is a classic thing we all do when we feel tense. His shoulders are up. He doesn’t look as relaxed.

"He exhibits some of the behaviours we used to see from him many years ago, they’re pacifying gestures that are signs of insecurity. He has his hand slightly in his pocket and he later puts his hands on his chest. It’s like he’s reassuring himself.

"These gestures may suggest that he feels a bit sad to be so far away from the festivities in London."

Harry last attended Trooping the Colour in 2019, with his wife, Meghan Markle, by his side. The couple had welcomed their son, now seven-year-old Prince Archie, just weeks before the event.

The couple announced their decision to step down from royal duties in early 2020, with the event cancelled in that year and 2021 due to the Covid-19 pandemic.

The couple and their two children - including Princess Lilibet - travelled to the UK in 2022 to attend celebrations for the late Queen Elizabeth II's Platinum Jubilee. Due to no longer being working royals, the family did not appear on the Buckingham Palace balcony during the visit.

The King and Queen were pictured centre in between members of their family on Saturday, with the Prince Wiliam and Princess Catherine and their three children - Prince George, Princess Charlotte and Prince Louis - also marking the historic occasion.

The King and Queen were also joined by the Duke and Duchess of Edinburgh, Princess Anne and Sir Timothy Laurence, as well as the Duke and Duchess of Gloucester and the Duke of Kent.
