Princess Anne has once again been declared the hardest-working member of the Royal Family, conducting 217 engagements this year.

This was followed by King Charles, completing 186, and the Duke of Gloucester with 126.

The Royal Family have been working tirelessly once again this year, making hundreds of appearances to support the Firm.

Research conducted by SEO agency Reboot Online showed that the Princess Royal retained her title as the hardest-working member.

This is despite Anne taking some time off this summer after suffering a concussion and head injury after being hit by a horse.

Prince Edward and Duchess Sophie have also ranked highly, increasing their appearances both at home and abroad this year to support the Royal Family.

Sources say Sophie has become the Firm's “secret weapon” as she steps up during several absences.

Queen Camilla ranked in sixth place, having carried out 95 engagements this year.

Prince William ranked in eighth place this year with a total of 71 engagements to his name so far this year. While Princess Kate came in 10th place with just 11.

The Princess of Wales has taken a step back from formal royal duties this year as she recovered from major abdominal surgery and subsequent cancer diagnosis. William also took some time away from his duties to support his family.
