A street in Scotland was taped off by police officers this morning, June 25. The cordon follows an early-hours incident which sparked a major emergency response.
Police blocked off sections of Durar Drive and Ardshiel Avenue in the Clermiston area of Edinburgh, where multiple officers were seen patrolling the scene on Thursday morning. Pictures from EdinburghLive show police tape blocking access to parts of the residential streets as officers carried out enquiries. A Police Scotland spokesperson said: “Around 8am on Thursday, 25 June, 2026, we were called to a report of a serious assault on Ardshiel Avenue in Edinburgh. Emergency services attended and a 42-year-old man was taken to hospital for treatment. Three men, aged 32, 34 and 60, have been arrested in connection with the incident and enquiries are ongoing.”
