Meghan Markle appeared to take a swipe at the Firm during her latest podcast appearance, in an episode that was released on Tuesday. The 43-year-old, who officially joined the Royal Family after marrying Prince Harry in 2018, took on her second podcast appearance within the past month.
Host Emma Grede asked Meghan, who stepped down from royal duties alongside Harry in 2020, what she would do "if you could rewrite your public narrative from scratch". In what appeared to be a dig at the royals, she replied: "Yes, I would ask people to tell the truth."

Expanding on her question, Emma then said to the former working royal that she must feel "angry" to have people "lying about [her] all the time".
To which she recalled some advice that she had received from former tennis professional and her friend, Serena Willliams, who appeared as a guest on her previous podcast Archetypes in 2022.
Meghan, who is mum to Archie, 6, and Lilibet, 4, said: "My dear friend Serena, she told me years ago, 'A lie can't live forever'".
The duchess has previously described her time as a working royal as a time when she "wasn't as empowered with my voice".
