While she is yet to publicly confirm herself that the event will be held this year, the Royal Foundation’s latest accounts suggest it will be going ahead.

The Foundation’s report, which was published in August, read: “Finally, to close 2025, the ‘Together at Christmas’ will once again aim to bring together communities across the UK to celebrate people who have gone out of their way to help others with even more impactful local services.”
No date has yet been set for the event, however it tends to take place within the first few weeks of December. It is then usually broadcast on TV on Christmas Eve.
Last year, the princess’ carol service was especially poignant as it came just months after she finished her cancer treatment following her diagnosis earlier that year.
The princess reflected on such challenges, telling singer Paloma Faith, who performed at the concert, that she did not expect to have had experienced the “unplanned” year she did.
It is likely the princess may confirm more details about the carol service event in the upcoming weeks.
