Traffic on the M25 has been stopped after a serious collision.

National Highways says: "Traffic is being held on the #M25 clockwise at J6 #Godstone due to a serious collision.

"Emergency services are on scene.

"There are delays in excess of 60 minutes and 6 miles of congestion on the approach."

'Multiple vehicles' involved

According to AA, 'multiple vehicles' have been involved in the incident.

It said: Road closed and long delays due to serious crash, multiple vehicles and the central reservation involved on M25 clockwise before J6 A22 (Godstone). Camera confirm emergency services in lanes two and three (of three) on the Anti Clockwise carriageway."
