A bustling motorway has been partially shut down due to snowy weather conditions.
The incident took place on the M1 northbound between junction 28 Mansfield and junction 29 Chesterfield, following a lorry accident in the early hours of Friday morning, January 9, reports The Mirror.
Three out of four lanes are currently closed as the snowfall is also causing disruptions on the motorway. National Highways reports that recovery efforts for the lorry are in progress and winter fleet vehicles are on their way to clear the snow.
Delays are anticipated with a reported four miles of congestion.
