Israel's Eurovision star had to be escorted to the show by 100 cops in blacked-out Range Rovers.

Over 100 Swedish police officers escorted singer Eden Golan from her hotel to the arena amid fears she may be targeted by pro-Palestine protestors.

A convoy of blacked-out Range Rovers and police cars drove through Malmo’s streets with a police helicopter and drones patrolling overhead.

More than 20,000 protestors have descended on the city ahead of the Eurovision final this evening over Israel’s participation.

They are calling on people to boycott the show due to Israel’s ongoing attacks on Gaza. The state has been accused of committing war crimes against Palestinians by the Human Rights Watch and Amnesty International.

Eden, 20, had been ordered to stay in her room by Israel's national security agency Shin Bet, with the star only being allowed out for her performances over safety fears.

Demonstrators have stuck hundreds of stickers across the city and defaced Eurovision posters with the Palestinian flag and signs accusing Israel of "killing children" in Gaza and Rafah.

Police bosses have already drafted in cops from around the country to boost protection for the public and performers including Eden.

Eurovision singers yesterday came under fire for bullying the Israeli contestant and the crowd at the semi-finals could be heard booing Eden before, during and after her performance.

Israel's National Security Council cited "well-founded concerns" of terrorist attacks at the event and warned Israelis to not attend.

Metal barricades and large concrete blocks have been put up around Malmo Arena with police guarding the venue and checking visitors’ bags.
