A total of 683 Wetherspoon pubs will be open across the UK on Christmas Day this year, the company has confirmed.

For some, Christmas Day means spending time cooking up a delicious feast on the morning of December 25, ready to share it with family and friends. But for others, the thought of slaving over a hot stove for hours on end is a stress they can do without, which means enjoying a Christmas dinner out is a much more favourable option. If you fall into the latter category and are tempted by a cosy pub meal to ring in Christmas Day, then hundreds of Wetherspoon locations will be throwing open their doors on December 25.

The pub chain, which boasts more than 800 locations across the country, has confirmed to The Express that 683 of its pubs will be open on Christmas Day this year.
