Emergency services have rushed to the scene of a high rise tower block fire in Birmngham, with residents evacuated. It comes just hours after a blaze at 101 Brindley House on Newhall Street this morning.

Eyewitnesses speaking to Birmingham Live said there are at least six fire engines in attendance, with two fire engine cars as well as an ambulance. One resident said it is believed the blaze may have started on the fourth floor. The Daily Express has contacted West Midlands fire Service for comment.
