A scarce underground bunker - merely one of 1,500 remaining across the UK - has hit the market for £20,000.
The fortified subterranean bunker sits within the village of Hallen, in South Gloucestershire.
The 'extraordinarily unique' listing, featured on Zoopla through estate agents David Plaister Ltd, portrays the distinctive 'property' as a fortified underground rural Royal Observer Corps bunker, a self-sufficient subterranean space and an 'exceptional rarity'.
It even boasts an underground chamber that is 'ideal as a private wine cellar, safe room, or secure utility area'.

The self-sufficient underground facility is discretely nestled into the hillside - which the listing claims provides 'a private and secure space with a range of potential uses'.
Initially built during the Cold War period, the bunker maintains original roc furniture and fixtures.

The interior configuration consists of a compact access shaft leading to subterranean chambers designed for operational purposes.
Situated on raised terrain, the location provides sweeping views across the Mouth of the River Severn - though the bunker itself 'remains concealed and unobtrusive'.
Entry is typically through a secured hatch entrance and ladder descent, in line with original roc specifications.
The listing description added: "This is a highly unique listing, as only around 1,500 such roc posts were built across the UK, with many now decommissioned or lost.

"It presents a unique investment opportunity for buyers with an interest in military history, secure storage, or rare architectural assets.
"No residential planning permission is in place."
