Parliament House Revamp to Cost Taxpayers Over $14 Million, Inquiry Reveals

Eleven new Senate suites at Parliament House will cost an estimated $1.34 million (US$960,000) each, with the total project exceeding $14 million.

Department of Parliamentary Services Deputy Secretary Nicola Hinder confirmed the per-suite cost and overall budget during Senate estimates.
