Electricity Blackout Hits Large Parts of Spain and Portugal

Large parts of Spain and Portugal are without electricity, according to local media reports.

Portuguese newspaper Diário de Notícias reported on April 28 that a widespread blackout has hit both countries and that so far, the causes remain unknown.

All of Spain is currently without electricity, according Diarioarea,  which said that the blackout had caused medical operations to be left half-finished, and left people trapped in elevators.
