Class-Action Lawsuit in Plant-Based Milk Recall Settled at $6.5M

Canadians who bought or drank recalled plant-based milk linked to a listeria outbreak have reached a $6.5-million settlement with Danone Canada, Wal-Mart Canada Corp., and Intact Insurance Company.

The settlement is tied to a listeria outbreak that led to a national recall of several Silk and Great Value plant-based milk products in July 2024.
