Meghan Markle has taken another bold step in her post-royal life by launching her own luxury lifestyle brand amidst ongoing tensions within the Royal Family.

The move has raised eyebrows and stirred debate within the palace as Meghan seems determined to carve her own path, independent of royal constraints.

American Riviera Orchard, which has already amassed over 570,000 followers on Instagram, is expected to offer a range of products from cosmetics to yoga mats, and even dog food.

Now that the brand has been launched, Meghan appears poised to leverage her celebrity status to potentially rake in millions of dollars.

Royal expert Tom Quinn sheds light on the palace's perspective, claiming it has only worsened the existing tensions between Meghan and The Firm.

He told the Mirror: "The palace has given up thinking that Meghan and Harry will lie low and behave properly. The new brand won’t come as a surprise, and in fact, I’ve spoken to people who are surprised that something like this didn’t happen sooner."

"Meghan has calculated that the Kate health mystery and King Charles’ illness mean there is more attention on the Royal Family than usual, and that she might be able to benefit from some of that attention."

Critics within Kensington Palace have reportedly expressed discomfort with what they perceive as Meghan's opportunistic approach to monetising her royal connections.

Despite efforts to modernise the monarchy, there remains a sense of unease regarding what some deem as "grubby moneymaking."

Quinn added: "Like many Americans, Meghan just cannot understand why anyone should see that making money out of your connections is ever a bad thing.

"There are groans at Kensington Palace about Meghan‘s new website – for all their modernising, the Royal Family still dislike what they see as grubby moneymaking and the fact that Meghan is planning to sell kitchen and cookery equipment is grubby in the palace’s view."

While the exact details of the brand's offerings and launch timeline remain undisclosed, speculation is rife, especially considering Meghan's ties to Netflix and her extensive celebrity network.
